Ausmusic – Your Pathway to the Music Industry
Ausmusic is pleased to announce the establishment of The Ausmusic College in Melbourne, giving students the opportunity to further their contemporary music education at Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
Ausmusic is Australia’s premier contemporary music education company, with its own curriculum and resources and is one of the longest operating music education companies, established in 1989.
In 2007 full time contemporary music courses will be available for students covering all areas of the music industry. The Ausmusic College is offering programs in all three music industry streams; performance, technology (sound production) and business. These streams are part of the National Music Industry Training Package as full qualifications that are recognized throughout Australia, with migration to tertiary level degrees.
The two year program will see students complete an Advanced Diploma in their chosen stream with an exit point after 12 months at Diploma level.
Ausmusic programs are delivered through many secondary schools as the VET in schools programs at Certificate II and III level. Students, who have completed one of these programs through an Ausmusic partner school, will receive a substantial fee discount and a priority place when they apply. Ausmusic has established an artist development program aimed at launching the careers of aspiring musicians through personalized and specialist training, recording, performance and touring opportunities.
