Ausmusic helps you to deliver the National Qualifications from the music training package.
Ausmusic training programs can be implemented by virtually any organisation, who is involved with education or training of some sort. Its flexibility allows easy adaptation to suit the needs of your students/members/clients. Anything from a single area of study to a fully accredited course can be offered using Ausmusic curriculum. Schools, TAFEs, community learning and youth centres, universities as well as recording studios and performing arts centres have all used Ausmusic curriculum and resources to train their members in the various skills of the music industry. Students of any age or background can participate – anyone who has an interest in music or the music industry.

Ausmusic can act as your Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for the issuing of credentials and compliance with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) Standards.
Ausmusic Ltd trading as Ausmusic Institute is RTO no.109 and has the entire music training package qualifications on its scope of registration for delivery. Ausmusic licenses sites to deliver courses in schools and community venues undertaking a partnership arrangement to ensue federal and state training compliance.
Schools and private providers who are already an RTO but would still like to license the Ausmusic training plan curriculum can do so, but are responsible for all AQTF standards themselves.
- Identify what courses, individual topics or package of units you want to deliver.
- Check your state education department guidelines to ensure the units selected fit into your state school education system. (Ausmusic can help you – call us 03 9281 8898)
- Identify the costs involved- facilities, training assessor costs, marketing etc.
- Fill in a License Form for Education Organisations or a License Form for Private Providers, confirming who will be the RTO.
- Once licensed you will be given a unique user name and password to access the Licensed Sites page where all Training Plan Documents for the Qualification/s you want to deliver are found.
- Purchase any of the resources you require to assist you in delivering the Ausmusic program.
- If Ausmusic is the RTO, enroll the students on the Ausmusic Online Enrolment System.
- Attend the Professional Development sessions each year.
- If Ausmusic is the RTO, undertake a self-audit each year and prepare for an external audit each three years.
- Print, Read and Make Available to trainers and students the policies and procedures that are required of an RTO and a licensed site undertaking a National Training Package. Be aware of the AQTF requirements.
