To provide knowledge and skills to successfully exploit local music product into International territories and to import music product.
At the completion of the Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Business), the student will be able to:
- Identify appropriate export markets for local live and recorded music product
- Identify business opportunities for importing music product
- Manage a small business or section of a larger company involved in exporting/importing music product.
To attain the Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Business) achieve 16 units; all of the units in Group A, at least three units in Group B, at least four units in Group C and four others. Two of the other units should be drawn from Group B or C or from the unit bank for Advanced Diploma, or another endorsed industry training package at Advanced Diploma level.
The Advanced Diploma of Music Industry (Business) consist of a total of 390 hrs for Group A and 48 -120 hrs of Group B, 102-120hrs from Group C, plus four others. If students have completed the Diploma of Music Industry (Business) the total hours required will be less.
